Directed by Philip Giordano. Music composed by Adam Spade.
This spec commercial was another rush job for me, and actually done on the weekend of my birthday. It was really fun but done so fast that I almost don’t remember doing it! It was produced in August of 2013 and I am just now posting about it in December. I had to actually submit a rough mix for the competition. It had no panning and the audio was flat. The version above is remixed and pumped just a bit for display in my portfolio.
Electronic music can be very time consuming as you browse through thousands of samples, create your own, and then modify them as you go. However, when you get the ‘right’ sound for the job, it’s very gratifying. I don’t feel that I ever got that with this project but that is the nature of the beat with competitions. You work in short time frames but get to have some fun.
I’m proud of what I accomplished. However, my sights are set on larger projects, at the moment, that will better showcase my talents. I have a few feature films in the works, and some other projects I can’t wait to share with you all.
Philip Giordano was a pleasure to work with. I have had the opportunity to work with some really friendly and talented up-and-coming directors, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I am truly blessed.
Be good to each other. It’s been real,
